My digestion has acted up quite badly from early this year, causing me restless nights and fatigue relapse. My road to recovery from leaky gut is ongoing since 2 years, thus having the bloating symptoms reoccur can be frustrating. I have 2 confessions to make.
1st confession – I’m not a morning person and I become grouchy bear if I’m on empty stomach. So stay away from me in the morning, especially if I didn’t get my breakfast. I will try to get as much sleep as I possibly can before waking up, I’d rather get an extra 15 minutes sleep than using them to do my hair or make-up.
2nd confession – I l used to eat in the car while driving to work, and I still do now when I’m running around in the morning.

Don’t laugh. I brought 1kg of my granola on my Europe vacation. As most breakfast options in Europe are wheat based food, my granola was my breakfast, my snack- sprinkled on yogurt parfait and my traveling munchies.

Kacang Pool or Kacang Phool is a rather popular food in Johor Bahru, and everyone seems to be talking about Kacang Pool Pak Haji at Larkin. I recently found out that I do not really have gluten allergy, just mild wheat allergy. You can imagine how elated I am to know I can use other types of grains such as rye and spelt. The 1st thing I did was buy a packet of IREKS ‘Dinkelspitz’ at Pastry Pro in Kepong to try out spelt bread.
